Meet Dr. Sharon Schindler, a smile artist and visionary in cosmetic dentistry. Over the past three decades, she has dedicated herself to her craft while developing a passion for transforming lives through award-winning smile makeovers.
Dr. Schindler has built a reputation based on uncompromising clinical excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm, gentle demeanor. A 1990 graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Dentistry, Dr. Schindler is a general dentist who focuses exclusively on cosmetic dental treatments and procedures (Smile Makeovers, Porcelain Veneers, No-Prep Veneers, Complex Cosmetic Smile Rejuvenation & Full Mouth Rejuvenation).
Dr. Schindler has a passion in the art of smile design and loves to help her guests achieve health, function & artistic beauty in their smiles. Dr. Schindler has devoted more than 35 years to developing a practice which combines art, science and technology with personalized, comfortable and gentle care for her guests.
Dr. Schindler has offered her expertise at both the Ohio State University Restorative and Prosthetic clinic and the University of Illinois Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences clinic. In addition, Dr. Schindler has been a guest clinical instructor at the Aesthetic Excellence Continuum.
Dr. Schindler holds active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics and the Christian Medical & Dental Society. Dr. Schindler truly has a heart to serve others and has participated in several Dental Mission trips to Costa Rica, providing free dentistry to families.
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Schindler now resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Mark, who is the director of Guest Services and Care Coordinator at Schindler Smile Studio. Dr. Schindler & Mark have two beautiful adoptive daughters, Natalia & Maria, and two adorable grandchildren, Sophia and Leo. In addition, they have three cute doggies: Oscar, Biscuit (long-haired dachshunds) & Barnaby (chihuahua). In her free time, Dr. Schindler loves to spend time with her family and doggies and loves going to church and worshiping God. In addition, Dr. Schindler loves to travel and go to Art museums, which inspires her in her work. Dr. Schindler also enjoys fitness, snow skiing, reading, gardening, and is an avid bird watcher.
Dr. Schindler was selected by her peers as the #1 Cosmetic Dentist in central Ohio through WBNS 10TV’s “Dentists Rate Dentists” survey.
Dr. Schindler has achieved the Fellowship award with the prestigious Las Vegas
Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVIF)—a renowned center for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Schindler is in the top 1% of cosmetic dentists nationwide to complete the comprehensive, aesthetic Full Mouth Reconstruction curriculum at LVI.
Dr. Schindler has achieved the Fellowship award with the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics.
This award is focused on aesthetic, neuromuscular full mouth rejuvenation. Dr. Schindler is the top 2% of cosmetic dentists to have received this award nationally.
Dr. Schindler has achieved the Fellowship award with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). These awards are earned by only a small number of practicing general dentists each year.
Dr. Schindler was awarded the Consumer’s Choice Award for Business Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry for eight consecutive years.
Dr. Schindler was recognized as an “Official Cosmetic Dentist of the Mrs. Globe Pageant,” providing cosmetic services to the pageant delegates. She has performed many cosmetic smile makeovers on Mrs. U.S Globe delegates and served as an official judge of the Mrs. Globe Pageant in Palm Springs, California. www.mrsglobe.com. Dr. Schindler served on the board of the 3M-ESPE Council for Innovative Dentistry from 2008 through 2012. The council tests, reports & advises on innovative products in the dental industry and is comprised of 20 dentists throughout the United States & Canada.
Dr. Schindler has also been named in the “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America for 20 consecutive years.
