A Unique Approach to Dental Care

Liz Koza, BS, RDH, Tissue Therapist (Hygienist)

How long have you been in dentistry: 14 years

Why did you choose the field of dentistry: I have always had a heart to help others. I grew up doing mission work through my church and actually started my studies in college with Social Work as my major. I started my dental career as a dental assistant and it didn’t take me long to fall in love with the field and make the decision to further my education in dentistry. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M Health Sciences Center Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dentistry allows me to fulfill my desire to work with people and make a difference in someone’s life. I love forming relationships with my patients and working with them to help maintain good oral health.

Where are you from: Dallas, Texas

What are your hobbies: There is nothing I love more than spending time with our newborn son, Logan. He was born in July of 2017 and he takes up the majority of our time! I have really enjoyed exploring Columbus since relocating here with my husband in 2016. I love trying new restaurants, local shops, and enjoying parks in the area.
